Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) can feel like a major obstacle, but don’t let it slow you down. You’re on a quest for other treatment options, and researchers are with you.
Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a skin condition that causes painful bumps(nodules) on the skin. These bumps or nodules will usually develop on the skin of the armpits, groin, buttocks, and breasts.
This a year-long clinical research study designed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of an investigational drug compared to a placebo (something that looks like the investigational drug but has no effect on the body) in reducing symptoms and improving the quality of life for participants living with HS.
You may be able to participate in this study if you:
Are at least 16 years old
Were diagnosed with HS at least 6 months ago
Haven’t seen enough improvement from a previous HS treatment
Qualified participants will receive all study-related drugs (the active investigational drug or placebo) and study-related care at no cost. Participants may be reimbursed for travel and expenses.

Living with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU) can be overwhelming, especially when traditional treatments, like antihistamines, fail to provide relief. But there may be another option. Researchers are conducting a clinical trial to evaluate a potential new treatment for CSU, and you may qualify to participate.
What is Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria (CSU)?
CSU is a skin condition that causes recurring hives, swelling, and itching, often without any known triggers. The symptoms can persist for months or even years, significantly affecting daily life and emotional well-being. Many individuals with CSU don’t find enough relief from existing treatments.
About the Study
This global, year-long clinical research study is investigating the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug, Barzolvolimab, compared to a placebo. The study aims to evaluate whether this new treatment can reduce symptoms and improve the quality of life for people living with CSU who haven’t responded well to standard treatments like antihistamines.
You may qualify for the study if you:
- Are 18 years or older
- Have been diagnosed with CSU for at least 6 months
- Are currently experiencing symptoms despite using non-sedating antihistamines
What to Expect
If you qualify, all study-related drugs (the investigational drug or placebo) and care will be provided at no cost to you. You’ll be closely monitored by a dedicated medical team throughout the study. Participants may also be reimbursed for travel and other study-related expenses.
